WHAT WE TREAT

Conditions that respond well to laser

Laser therapy is most effective for conditions where inflammation and slow tissue healing are the underlying problem.

Back Pain

Lower, mid, and upper back pain treated without long-term commitments.

Sciatica

Shooting or radiating pain down the leg — laser reduces inflammation around the sciatic nerve.

Neck Pain

Including Tech neck or text neck, whiplash-related stiffness, and cervical conditions.

Arthritis

Joint inflammation and stiffness – particularly in the spine, knees, hands, and wrists

Plantar Fasciitis

Heel and arch inflammation that responds well to laser therapy and is often slow to heal on its own.

Shoulder Pain

Rotator cuff conditions, bursitis, and soft tissue injuries that limit range of motion.

Sports Injuries

Sprains, strains, and soft tissue injuries.  Faster recovery by reducing inflammation.

Soft Tissue Conditions

Tendinities, bursitis, muscle strains, and chronic inflammation in joints and connective tissue.

What to Expect

Simple, quick, no recovery needed

Laser therapy sessions at Zock Family Chiropractic are brief, focused, and require no preparation. Most patients begin noticing a difference within two to three sessions, though this varies by condition and severity.

  • Your provider evaluates the treatment area and positions the laser device directly on or near the skin surface.
  • The session lasts 4-7 minutes per treatment area. Multiple areas can be treated in a single visit.
  • You leave the office immediately after – there is no downtime, no bandaging, no soreness.
  • For most conditions, a course of 3-5 sessions is recommended.
Your provider will advise based on your evaluation.
  • Laser therapy can be scheduled as a standalone appointment or combined with a chiropractic adjustment in the same visit.

What Patients Describe

During a session

Gentle warmth

Most patients feel a mild warmth at the treatment site. Some feel nothing at all. There is no discomfort.

Relaxing, not clinical

Sessions are calm and unhurried. You stay fully clothed. No needles, no prep, no pressure.

In and out quickly

A single-area session takes less than 10 minutes. You can return to work, exercise, or normal activity immediately after.

Results build over sessions

Improvement is typically cumulative. Many patients notice the most significant change after their second or third session.

PROVIDER PERSPECTIVE

Why we added laser therapy

Dr. Zock integrated laser therapy into the practice because a meaningful number of patients — particularly those managing chronic conditions like arthritis, plantar fasciitis, and recurring soft tissue injuries — needed something beyond spinal adjustment to reduce inflammation and support healing between visits.

Laser therapy is not a replacement for chiropractic care. For many patients, it works best as a complement — the laser addresses tissue-level inflammation while the adjustment addresses structural alignment. Dr. Zock and Dr. Lauren assess each patient individually and recommend laser therapy only when it is clinically appropriate for your specific condition.

Laser therapy is a separate purchasable service — it is not included in a standard chiropractic visit and is not typically covered by insurance. Sessions are available individually or in packages of 6 or 12. Your provider will discuss what is appropriate for your condition at your evaluation.
